MiniJumbuk Managing Director, Darren Turner, is proud to lead the team responsible for handcrafting Australia’s favourite bedding products.
Located in the small South Australian town of Naracoorte, MiniJumbuk made Australia’s first commercially produced wool quilts under licence in the 1970’s. Compounding that achievement, he is pleased that today, over forty years later the company continues to trade strongly.
Beds and sleep are an important part of our lives. We spend nearly one third of our lives in bed, which is why MiniJumbuk developed the Sleep System. The MiniJumbuk Sleep System ensures you obtain the maximum benefit of sleeping with wool simply by combining the three components of the MiniJumbuk range: mattress topper, quilt and pillow.
Best of all, it is all made right here in Australia using wool produced by Australian farmers. Our amazing craftsmen are local: living within our community, raising families in our region and supporting our businesses. Our team feels a sense of pride and privilege that our customers trust us to deliver the bedding they use every day. They love that our brand and beautifully crafted, premium products are recognised Australia wide.
Mr Turner believes that when you purchase an Australian made product, you are not just supporting a local manufacturer, but supporting the whole of Australia. You are playing a part in boosting an Australian community, keeping jobs local and helping to make Australia a better place to live.
‘When you have the choice between buying something that is made locally in Australia versus something that is made overseas, why not make that choice, and why not play a part in supporting our country?’
