This Saturday is a very important day for all Australians. On the 100th ANZAC day, we remember the servicemen and women who have served to protect Australia and we particularly commemorate those who have lost their lives to war. Lest we forget.
Dawn Services will be held across the Limestone Coast: Naracoorte, Naracoorte Town Squares 5.30am, Lucindale, RSL 7am and Mount Gambier, Vansittart Park War Memorial, Commercial Street 6.15am
This weekend also sees the end of the school holidays in South Australia. So why not treat the kids with a trip to the cinema to see the film Shaun the Sheep Movie? At MiniJumbuk we love all things to do with sheep, so of course Shaun the Sheep makes our list of great sheepy things!
This animated movie has been made by the makers of the Oscar winning Wallace and Gromit and follows Shaun, Blitzer and the flock as they head into the big city to rescue their farmer. The film shares the mischief and mayhem of the sheep on their adventure in the city and is a fun movie that the entire family is sure to enjoy.
Or why not combine remembering our ANZACs with a fun day out for the kids by checking out the Rusty Rattlers Rally in Apsley? The rally is held at the Apsley racecourse with classic cars, stationary engines and stalls. BBQ and light refreshments available. This event starts Saturday at 10am with time out for Anzac March @ 11am.
