Sunday 11th January will see the fishing community of Cape Jaffa on the Limestone Coast burst into life with the annual Seafood and Wine Festival. Cape Jaffa is a small fishing town located between the popular towns of Kingston and Robe.
The festival showcases some of the area's amazing seafood, local produce and wine against the backdrop of the brilliant blue Southern Ocean.
You can enjoy the famous Southern Rock Lobster, snapper pies, prawns and other freshly cooked fruits of the sea. For lovers of food from the land there will be plenty of barbecue treats and sweets, not to mention a huge array of wines from the Mount Benson and Robe wine regions to compliment all the great food.
Wineries expected to be showcased this year include local favourites such as the Cape Jaffa Wines, Ralph Fowler, Frog Island, Norfolk Rise, Wangolina Station, Cape Thomas and Wehl's Mount Benson.
It's not all about food and wine though, live entertainment, photo opportunities with the festival Lobster mascot and the annual kid's sandcastle building competition ensure it's a great day out for the entire family.
If you are heading to the festival why not make the most of the day and explore the area's pristine locations including the beautiful beaches and the charming landscape of Mount Benson.
Don't miss this favourite on Limestone Coast social calendar.
