The first question to answer is are you buying a quilt for year round, or do you have an option to have a winter and a summer quilt?
If you are looking for a year round quilt the next things to consider are whether you are a hot or cold sleeper, and which part of Australia you live in.
- If you are a cold sleeper and live in Victoria, ACT Tasmania, SA or the cooler parts of New South Wales then you probably want to consider an Everyday or Warm quilt.
- If you are a hot sleeper and live in these states then the Everyday would be the way to go.
For those in Queensland or WA or the warmer parts of NSW, the Everyday or Cool quilts should be considered as a year round option.
You may also want to consider the type of home you live in, for those in modern heated/air conditioned apartments the Everyday is a great option for year round.
For those of us in older homes that may not have great insulation or stay warm at night time in winter, then the Warm is a good choice.
If you are able to choose a quilt just for summer we have two to choose from the Cool and the Ultralight.
The Cool is perfect for most people for summer sleeping. In the warmer states (WA, Queensland and parts of NSW) our Ultralight quilt has been designed specifically for these areas. It is our most luxurious summer quilt with a very light and soft cotton sateen casing and a light fill of wool and cotton, ideal for when you want more than a sheet but less than a blanket.
