The MiniJumbuk Mums

The MiniJumbuk Mums

We checked in with three of our MiniJumbuk Mums to see how they are planning on spending their Mother's Day, this Sunday 8th May.

How many children do you have and how old are they?

I have 4 children, one daughter I lost at 18 months of age, to a terminal illness. I have 2 boys, Tom 18 and Nathan 16 and a daughter, Lucy who is 11. I am very proud of the caring young people they have become.

The most surprising part about being a Mum?

I am surprised at how efficient I have learnt to be, always being available for my kids. Doing more than one thing at a time! I am always happy to do the midnight pick up from a party when my sons call.

How do you plan on spending your Mother's Day?

My daughter will cook me a lovely breakfast and then you will find me in the MiniJumbuk Factory Outlet. I hope to take my mother and family our to dinner.

How many children do you have and how old are they?

I have 3 children, Weston is 12, Decody is 9 and Keely is 7.

The best thing about being a Mum?

Motherhood has been my hardest challenge, my best loved job with the greatest rewards I ever could have imagined.

The most enjoyable time at this stage is proudly watching my kids compete in sport, footy, basketball, netball, karate, dancing, their faces, their fears and tears, their smiles, it's a bond that will last forever. Kids will be kids, being a mum is a journey.

Your favourite way to spend Mother's Day?

The kids pamper me with a soak in the tub and a mini face massage followed by their creative handmade gifts from school. We have a cooked breakfast and share family memories looking at old photographs and telling funny stories about when they were younger. We bake sweet treats and snuggle up on the couch to watch DVDs.

How many children do you have and how old are they?

I have three boys, Josh 25, Ben 23, Sam 21.

The best thing about being a mum?

Being able to watch your kids grow up and enjoy and experience all their milestones, achievements, special moments and successes. There are way too many best things about being a mum to list them all.

Your ideal Mother's Day?

To be taken out for a lovely relaxing lunch or dinner with all three of my boys.
