Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Great Southern Land collection different?

For 50 years, we’ve been crafting bedding with wool, proudly leading the way as one of the first manufacturers of wool quilts in Australia.

The Great Southern Land collection brings together premium Australian wool with exceptionally soft eucalyptus lyocell casings, creating a range of three quilts that feels cool to the touch while remaining breathable and naturally temperature regulating.

Designed as a complete sleep offering, the collection also includes pillows, mattress toppers and breathable waterproof protectors, delivering comfort, support and protection across your entire sleep environment.

Why should I choose wool?

We believe that wool is the best fibre for year-round bedding use as it is naturally temperature regulating, moisture wicking, anti-allergenic and odour resistant. These properties combine for a more comfortable, restful sleep. In fact, nine out of ten MiniJumbuk customers surveyed say their latest MiniJumbuk purchase improved their sleep quality.

How do I choose the right quilt warmth or weight for my needs?

We offer different weight quilts, offering different levels of warmth from 200GSM to 450gsm. If you’re unsure about what quilt suits your needs, try our Quilt Selector.

Can I use my Minijumbuk quilt all year round?

Yes! Our wool quilts naturally regulate temperature, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter.

What's the difference between wool and other fibres?

Compared with other fibres, rather than trapping heat, wool quilts naturally regulate temperature, wick moisture and resist odour. This makes it a superior fibre for year round use.
