Made in South Australia

Made in South Australia

MiniJumbuk has been making the world's best bedding products for almost 40 years in the small country town of Naracoorte, South Australia. We are proud of our heritage, our association with this great state and of supporting our rural farming community.

With this in mind, we will be showcasing our products at the Made in SA Expo to be held at the new extension of the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of March. The expo will be South Australia's largest public exhibition of home grown businesses.

Made in SA was developed with the key purpose of showcasing prominent and innovative South Australian businesses and industries in an informative and interactive public exhibition.

The expo is free to the public and joins a week-long list of events celebrating the official launch of the new Adelaide Convention Centre West Building. So why not come down and meet Pauline, Kate and Anne from our team and find out more about our products? There will also be an opportunity to win one of our Airlight Technology Everyday quilts!

The Made in SA exhibition will have six key sections - The Smart State, Big Business, Champions of the State, Team Colours, Protecting our Community and the Creative Laneway, so there will be plenty of other exhibitors displaying and explaining their businesses and products.

The expo will also feature a showcase of South Australian home grown fashion talents, culminating in a fashion show curated by Liza Emanuele.

The Made in SA expo is part of a week long program of business, arts and free community events which will mark the much anticipated official opening of the Adelaide Convention Centre's West Building - the first completed stage in a multi-million dollar expansion.

Thousands of South Australians are expected to flood through the doors of the West Building over the course of the week to attend events, tour the new building and enjoy some of Adelaide's best, newly created views.

Free public events during the week include SciWorld - an interactive exhibition for families to explore the wonders of science, Emma Hack Art Exhibitions and a Solar Panel Art Exhibition

On the 12th of March there will also be a massive charity fundraiser where an attempt to break the Guinness record for the world's longest cake will be held - the Longest Lamington Lunch.

For just $65 you can enjoy a two course lunch with local beer, wine and soft drinks plus a piece of iconic Australian dessert, with $40 per ticket going to local charities. The Lamington cake is anticipated to be over 700 metres long and will wind its way through the new building.

Why not come and celebrate what this great state has to offer and join us at the Made in SA Expo?
