Wool is naturally non-allergenic, making it ideal for allergy and asthma sufferers. We also treat our wool fill with Ultra-Fresh – an anti-bacterial treatment that provides lasting hygiene for effective limitation of dust mites. (AATCC test method 194-2006).

This quilt can be machine washed on a gentle wool cycle or dry cleaned. Wool has unique properties that repel dust and odour, reducing the need for frequent washing. This is why we recommend regular airing outside in sunlight.
Avoid Heat: Excess heat and agitation will damage this fine wool product and should be avoided during the cleaning process.
Not Suitable for Top Loaders: When washing, do not use a top loader washing machine, the extra agitation and reduced space can damage the quilt. For larger size quilts we recommend taking it to a laundromat with industrial size machines to wash your quilt.

AustraliaInvested in this King Size 'Silver All Year Round' quilt (I'm not actually sure what the Silver part of it is) but wanted something that would do us in winter and hopefully summer in Adelaide. We have two very contrasting seasons and temperatures. When I unpacked the quilt I thought how light it felt but I can assure you on a cold winter night this kept us blissfully warm without any heaviness/weight. It's a strange sensation as usually we have duvet plus blanket plus another blanket on to keep us warm .... this is remarkably light but holds your body heat so you wake up in a perfect warm pocket. Both my husband and I (who have completely different night body temperatures) are very happy with this purchase. In addition it doesn't 'bundle' like most duvets and remains flat and in shape. Love also that this is made in South Australia. Can't say how it'll be in summer but hoping for the best.
