This mattress topper may be machine washed in a front loader washing machine on a gentle, wool cycle, or it can be dry cleaned. We recommend regular airing, preferably outside in sunlight to reduce the need for frequent washing.
WARNING: Excess heat and agitation will damage this fine wool product and should be avoided during the cleaning process. Do not use top loader washing machine.

Whilst I am also exercising specifically to help this I do feel the extra underlay has contributed to easing this pain. It is still fairly cold at night so we are using the wool side up which is definitely warming. Still to see how we go in the summer with the underlay reversed. Overall very happy we purchased this.
